The Elephant in the Room

So, I see by my posts and lack of comments that there are many that will not address the elephant in the room. Comment damn it. That is what this blog is about. Many are afraid to bring up the elephant in the room, that is what I do for you. It is already there so talk about it. I break the ice for those how are afraid to be the first, now have at it. I already took the risk of being called, a bigot, homophobe, racist, xenophobic, and a myriad of other names. Clarification, I am no more these than anyone else and I mean anyone else, gay, straight, black, white, foreign, domestic, etc. In fact I am probably less than many.

I hate radicals. That is what this site is about. I love to bring up false and distorted facts and history. It is further fun to be as radical as the radicals to force issues and start open lines of communication, without that all is lost. There is no other way to have discussions and understanding without open honest conversation. This is what I hope these blogs inspire. It seems that no conversation starts without a little shock jock tactics. Now loosen up and have some conversations. I do not share anyone’s information and you can post under any name. This is one of the safest places to voice your opinion, not you BS or group think rhetoric but opinions based in fact because if it isn’t some one here will be more than glad to point it out to you. Now grow a set and have a conversation about the elephant in the room, many will find out that they have more in common than they think.

  1. It’s partly a navigation and widgets issue. Your site offers so little for an audience of readers seeking interactivity. You have no “archives” button, so if anyone wants to look back on your previous work, they have to click back one post at a time. That’s slow, and life is short. There’s no “about” page. No one can start by reading something tantalizing about your hopes for the blog, or about your own life if it’s a personal blog. You don’t feature a list of other blogs you like to read, or a display of previous comments and recent posts. Readers want to figure out what kind of people you want to hang with, and who is responding to what you write.

It’s not just what you choose to write about. Style (and goodies) matter.
The dawgs won’t salivate if you don’t ring them bells.

  2. Mikey,

Thanks for the imput, it is food for thought but I am not sure why visitors like you are only seeing the one blog. I you hit “home” it will show you all the things that you say that I do not have. Archives, about, and other sites or blogs that I like.

I do love your quote “It’s not just what you choose to write about. Style (and goodies) matter.
The dawgs won’t salivate if you don’t ring them bells.”
