Why Bother Camping?

Ahhhh, the sound of secadia, bird song, black bear raiding a blackberry bush, deer, chipmunks, ground hogs, and beavers, scampering in the dried leaves, and and the obnoxious laugh of Fran Drecher. Yes it is true apparently campers are complaining about the switch to digital TV because they can no longer bask in the glow of their 54 inch plasma TV
at night instead of watching the therapeutic glow and feel the and comfort of a campfire, good friends, good stories (no matter how exaggerated) and some “beverages” in the still of the woods.
I guess my question is why bother camping at all if you bring your 54 inch plasma TV, microwave, sink, queen size bed, furnace, air conditioner, Nintendo, refrigerator, and what the hay lets throw in a couple of computers and the internet also?!?

To all those that would put their house on wheels, and bring all these items and park them next to my campsite I resonate a boisterous and belligerent BUG OUT! STAY HOME AND KEEP AWAY FROM ME.

You think this is a joke?

“SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Ralph Deangelis planned his family’s cross-country RV excursion around taking in great sights at Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon. But Deangelis also likes being able to see practical things like local TV weather reports while they’re on the road.

So the switch by broadcasters to all-digital signals on Friday is bringing special headaches for campers like him.”

Um, HE IS NOT A CAMPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
